Teriyaki Cilantro Lime Salmon Power Bowls

Serves: 2 people  | Prep time: 15 mins  | Cook time: 10 mins


  • 1 box (284 g) Can’t Mess It Up™ Teriyaki Cilantro Lime Wild Pink Salmon
  • 1 pouch (250 g) ready-to-serve quinoa and brown rice mix
  • 2 cups (500 mL) small broccoli florets, blanched
  • ½ ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded red cabbage
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) toasted sesame seeds


  • Cook salmon according to package directions.
  • Meanwhile, heat quinoa and rice mix according to package directions.
  • Divide quinoa and rice mix between 2 bowls.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Goof-Proof Tips

  • Drizzle with sriracha hot sauce for a spicy addition.
  • Substitute matchstick carrots or thinly sliced red pepper for shredded cabbage, if desired.
  • To blanch broccoli florets, cook in pot of boiling, salted water for about 2 mins or until tender. Drain and immerse in ice water; drain again.
